Three Communities
Selected
For CWB Pilot ProjectFive communities
were short listed and in the end only three were
chosen to facilitate Community Multimedia Centres (CMCs).
The three communities were chosen after an extensive
screening assisted by agencies Local Initiative for
Urban Environment (LIFE) and the Social Development

Communities Without Borders project started in
December 2005 with the overall purpose of using ICTs
as a tool of development in rural areas of the
society that are most times overlooked and
underserved.
